About this speaker
Gill (she/they) has twenty years’ experience working in the homelessness field for local government, voluntary and grassroots organisations. She has held diverse frontline and strategic roles in service delivery, commissioning, safeguarding, inclusion health and social justice.
Until April 2023, Gill was Assistant Director for Homelessness & Communities for a London local authority. She is now working independently as researcher, learning partner, writer and systems facilitator. Her current work focusses on learning from preventable deaths and developing collaborative inclusion health systems.
Gill has published insights in several peer-reviewed articles and in the 2022 book Adult Safeguarding and Homelessness. In partnership with Research in Practice, she is preparing to publish the co-produced Radical Safeguarding Toolkit in the coming weeks.
