Kateya is a Policy Manager at Homeless Link where she leads on non-UK national homelessness. Her passion for improving systems for vulnerable groups along with her legal and regulatory policy background has enabled her to work across diverse topic areas for government, private, and charity sector organisations.
At Homeless Link, Kateya has worked with members, migrant sector experts, and local authority homelessness leads to influence policy and practice change that ensures no one is homeless because of their immigration status. Ahead of the next general election, she will continue to lead Homeless Links national policy influencing work in this area in partnership with the No Accommodation Network.
