About this speaker
Lauren is a qualified social worker, in the role of mental health practitioner employed by Devon Partnership trust Homeless Mental Health Team and seconded to the Navigator project. Lauren has a long history of initially working with adults who have learning disabilities and has been working in secondary mental health services for 8 years in various roles including the community mental health team, mental health social care and early intervention in psychosis.
Since June 2023 Lauren has been working as pre-treatment navigator / mental health practitioner for the Navigator Project in Exeter, which provides a wraparound service to what is considered the most vulnerable of the homeless community in the locality.
