About this speaker
Until mid March Naushabah Khan was Director of Policy and Communications at St Mungo, leading their work to influence policy change and raise awareness of homelessness to external audiences. She recently left to take the exciting step of standing to be a Member of Parliament for Labour in Gillingham &Rainham for Labour.
Naushabah is also Cabinet Member for Housing and Property, covering homelessness for Medway Council.
Prior to starting at St Mungo’s, Naushabah led numerous localised campaigns within the sector, influencing government policy on S.21 no fault evictions and a review of Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP).
