About this speaker
Rory Weal is Chair of the Rural Homelessness Counts coalition, an initiative established to raise the profile and solutions to the hidden crisis of rural homelessness, supported by organisations ranging from the National Housing Federation, to the Campaign to Protect Rural England, and the Chartered Institute of Housing. Rory is a Churchill Fellow in homelessness, having spent time researching solutions to homelessness in rural communities in the United States.
Rory is also Senior Policy and Public Affairs Manager at the anti-poverty charity the Trussell Trust, and is interested in the connections between poverty, homelessness, and place across the UK.
