Getting the full picture: Using data to help end rough sleeping

A Talk by Rob Anderson , Viv Griffiths and Ellie Greenhalgh

About this Talk

As our ability to capture, share and evaluate data improves, it is becoming an increasingly important tool in preventing and helping to end rough sleeping. However, we need to consider the data collection methods we use carefully, recognise where there may be gaps or deeper insight needed.

In this session we will consider a variety of ways rough sleeping and homelessness data is being collected and evaluated including the annual Rough Sleeping Snapshot Estimates, the Ending Rough Sleeping Framework, and the London Women's Rough Sleeping Census. Speakers will share what this data can tell us and what they feel is needed in the future to get even more and richer data.
