About this Talk
In our closing plenary we will look at the rough sleeping and homelessness picture beyond England, seeing what trends are mirrored elsewhere and what policy and good practice we should be looking to adopt from elsewhere.
Katie Dalton will talk about the picture close to home in Wales, providing details of the Welsh Government's Strategy for Preventing and Ending Homelessness and a huge planned shift in legislative reform, and stressing the importance of consuling those with lived expereince of homelessness.
Tim Richter will share the picture in Canada, discussing issues from SWEP to indigenous homelessness to a rapid rise in migrant homelessness.
